Where else can you play basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, have a picnic or a barbecue, and go for a swim?  There’s a large covered pavilion with 8 picnic tables and 4 grills, making it the perfect place to host your family or class reunion. Centennial Park also contains restrooms (located by the pavilion and unlocked during summer months), playground equipment, trash cans and a workout loop.  The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center has athletic equipment you can check out, free of charge, with an ID.  Parking is available in front, to the side, or behind the pool or off of Holman Avenue.

Rental rates for Centennial Park are $50 for 4 hours or $100 for the day.  Renters must also submit a $75 damage deposit on a separate check.  This check will either be returned to you or destroyed (your choice) after your rental if there has been no damage to the park during your event.  Electricity use at Centennial Park is a $10 extra fee.

Please note:  Dogs are not allowed in any Salida park with the exception of the Loyal Duke’s Dog Park, which is located on Holman Avenue. Smoking is not allowed in any of Salida’s parks or trails. Alcohol is not allowed in Salida parks without a liquor permit, which is only granted to 501c3 organizations.  For more information on park rules and regulations, please refer to the park rental application forms.
