Chisholm Park

**Note: Information effecting Chisholm Park rentals – pending construction on Hunt Street. Construction will be between May 1 and Aug 30.  There may be days that access is non-existent or very limited.  Alley access will remain (no parking in alley). Rentals may be impacted by construction, parking issues and or heavy equipment in the area.

Chisholm Park is Salida’s most recently remodeled park! Located at 324 Hunt Street, its grand re-opening was held in October 2013. Chisholm Park also has a brand new playground, which was completed in November 2014!

Chisholm Park has an indoor/outdoor pavilion which is available for year-round use. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms, a water fountain, a prep counter with a sink and a gas grill. Two ADA accessible parking spaces are also available onsite.

The cost for daily use of Chisholm Park is $25 per hour, or $125 per day.

Keys to Chisholm Park can be picked up at the Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center prior to your rental.  You are responsible for clean up before you leave.  For more information about Chisholm Park rentals, please refer to the park rental application forms.

Please note:  Dogs are not allowed in any Salida park with the exception of the Loyal Duke’s Dog Park, which is located on Holman Avenue.  Alcohol is not allowed in Salida parks without a liquor permit, which is only granted to 501c3 organizations. Smoking is not allowed in any of Salida’s parks or trails. For more information on park rules and regulations, please refer to the park rental application forms.
