Table Tennis Tournament
Show off your swift swing with some Table Tennis action! Join us on Thursdays from 7-8pm at the Salida Hot Springs Pool during Family Night for organized practice play. Then, look for an upcoming Tournament, to be announced soon! Winners in age divisions will be awarded prizes! People interested in more play can leave contact info and set up more times to play.

Prepare healthy and delicious food with Registered Dietician, Sally Ayotte! Learn about seasonal ingredients, and how to make healthy cooking and eating a fun and delicious habit! Adult classes will emphasize knife skills and menu selection, while kid’s classes will explore creative and yummy snacks that use local and nutritious ingredients. Knives will not be used in kid’s classes. Pre-registration is recommended because there is a MAX of 6 adults or 10 kids per class! Drop-ins will be accommodated if there is room–please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Please indicate any food allergies when you register.

Salida Community Contra Dances
Salida Recreation and Arkansas Valley Music & Dance invite everyone to join in these fun evenings of live music and lively dancing! A caller, working with a group of live musicians, guides new and experienced dancers of all ages through dances in circle, square & long line formations. We change partners often, so you don’t have to bring your own to stomp your feet to traditional old-time & Irish fiddle tunes. Bring a yummy treat for the dessert potluck. A great way to spend an evening as the weather gets cooler! $6/Adults, $4/youth.

Monarch Ski Bus
The Monarch Ski Bus is back and will start up on Friday, December 2nd! We are running buses on Fridays AND Saturdays this year, so join us for the easiest way to get your ski face on!
