Winter/Spring 2012 Learn to Swim Lessons

Parent and Child Lessons

American Red Cross Parent and Child Aquatics familiarizes young children (from ages 6 months to 3 years) to the water and prepares them to learn to swim in the American red Cross Preschool Aquatics or Learn-to-Swim courses.  Parent and Child Aquatics gives parents safety information and teaches techniques to help orient their children to the water, setting the stage for a lifetime of aquatic enjoyment.  It also provides direction on how to supervise water activities.  These courses are a bonding experience that will help your child become confident in the water and more easily able to learn to swim once they are a little older. Parents are required to be in the water with their child, and children in diapers are required to wear a swim diaper.

Saturdays, April 7, 14, 21, 28, 2012.  9:00 – 9:45 am. $30.00 for 4 lessons
