During the month of April each year the Salida Hot Spring pool hosts swimming lessons for the Longfellow Elementary and Salida Montessori physical education classes. This is a great program to give all students the opportunity to learn how to swim and learn basic water safety skills to use throughout their lifetimes. It is also a great way to reach some students who may not have the means to access our swimming programs throughout the year.
Longfellow Elementary will be in the lap and leisure pools:
8:30-11:45am and 1-2:50pm, Monday through Thursday, April 3-May 4, 2017
Salida Montessori will be in the lap and leisure pools:
10-11:45am and 1-1:45pm, Fridays, April 7-May 5, 2017
All lessons are taught by an American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor. We offer lessons for all ages and abilities. Register at the pool or call 539-6738.
