July 19 for the Lost Canyon Aerial Ropes Course, August 10 for the Lost Canyon Zipline Course

The Lost Canyon Aerial Ropes Course complex is an amazing structure that consists of interconnected “elements” up in the air. Elements such as swinging bridges, swinging logs, cargo nets, balance beams and tunnels pose challenges while developing skills and building confidence. A “Smart Belay” system keeps the participant clipped to the safety cable at all times. Bring snacks, water, sunscreen and layered clothing. Register by calling or in person at the Aquatic Center, 539-6738.
When: Wed, July 19 for Lost Canyon Aerial Course
Where: Drop-off & pick-up at Aquatic Center
Cost: $49/person; Ages: 8+

The Lost Canyon Zipline Tour consists of 6 exciting, high-flying cable rides between 200-700 feet in length and are stretched over a rocky canyon some 150-200 feet deep. There are hiking trails between the take-off and landing platforms; these vary from 40-670 feet long over rocky ground. This adventure has a high “thrill to skill” ratio, in that most anyone can do it, but it takes a little instruction and practice. Register by calling or in person at the Aquatic Center, 539-6738.
When: Thurs, Aug 10, 8am-noon for Zipline Course
Where: Drop-off & pick-up at Aquatic Center
