Thonoff Park

Thonhoff Park is 1.1 acres and consists of a large, grassy area on the mesa across from the County Courthouse, located at 142 Crestone Avenue. 

Thonhoff Park contains a few picnic tables and trash cans; electricity is also available at this park. Parking is available on the streets surrounding the park, at the courthouse and in the overflow parking lot at Safeway.

Rental rates for Thonhoff Park are $50 for 4 hours or $100 for the day.  Renters must also submit a $75 damage deposit on a separate check.  This check will either be returned to you or destroyed (your choice) after your rental if there has been no damage to the park during your event.  Electricity use at Thonhoff Park is a $10 extra fee.

Please note:  Dogs are not allowed in any Salida park with the exception of the Loyal Duke’s Dog Park, which is located on Holman Avenue.  Alcohol is not allowed in Salida parks without a liquor permit, which is only granted to 501c3 organizations. Smoking is not allowed in any of Salida’s parks or trails. For more information on park rules and regulations, please refer to the park rental application forms.
